SheEO Marketing was thrilled to welcome back Rikki Lee of Rikki Lee Media for a continuation of our first workshop on using SEO effectively in our business.

For many of us, the discussion of SEO began with, what actually is SEO?
SEO is like creating a roadmap that helps potential customers find your business online. When someone searches for something on Google or other search engines, SEO is the process of making your website more visible and attractive to both search engines and real people. It involves strategic use of relevant keywords, creating valuable content, optimizing your website's technical aspects, and building authority through quality backlinks. Think of it as organizing your digital storefront in a way that makes it easy for both search engines and customers to understand what you offer, trust your expertise, and find exactly what they're looking for.
Our recent SheEO Marketing workshop brought together women entrepreneurs to explore the evolving landscape of Search Engine Optimization. Here are the essential takeaways from our comprehensive session on modern SEO techniques.
Key Workshop Highlights:
SEO Copybank Strategies:
We learned how to use ChatGPt to find Keywords. These keywords will not only help us understand the importance of strategic keyword placement buy by creating a word bank we can create reusable content templates for consistent SEO.
Headline or Hooks:
Because social media engagements reward engagement and watch time, Rikki taught us the secret to making that number go up - The Triple Headline! By using three headlines instead of one, it takes a viewer longer to read it which results in increased engagement. So simple but so easy!
Geo-Tagging Images for Local SEO:
Not going to lie, this one was a little trickier for some of us! Although simple in theory, it takes a little bit of coding to add a geo tag to your website logo. Luckily Rikki gave us the code!
Adding Keywords to Website Photos:
We learned how to effectively master SEO on our website photos by providing Alt Text, Titles, Captions and ADA compliant descriptions.
At the end of the workshop, as with every SheEO event, there was time to network and make connections with this amazing group of female businesswomen!
If you missed this workshop, we have two more events coming up! On April 10 we will feature Klein Aleardi from SJ Magazine and she will be discussing How to Create an Effective Content Calendar. On April 16 Klein will return to teach us How to Master Your Social Media Video.
